The Packers have now informed RB Aaron Jones of his release after talks broke down.

A very good player and incredible teammate too.
After reaching agreement today with free-agent RB Josh Jacobs, the Packers informed RB Aaron Jones that he is being released, per source. Jones now will be a free agent.
Gutekunst on Feb. 1 when asked about bringing Aaron Jones back in 2024: "Yeah, absolutely. We’d love to Aaron back. We’re still putting all those things together as far as how we’re going to move forward. But he was such a difference-maker when he was out there this year.
Packers went to Aaron Jones about a pay cut, he/agent found a better market than that out there, turned down pay cut, was released.
The way our offense was able to move. He changed a lot of the way we operated when he was in there and when he was healthy. I think for us, it’s finding a way to keep him out there and keep him healthy. .Not only on the field but -- and you guys know this, you guys have been around here -- he’s such an influential leader in our locker room. He’s just really the heartbeat of our team. That’s certainly the anticipation, that he’ll be back."
How will the end be and will it be true?
